The Owen Sound Attack started their OHL weekend on a winning note.

It was Suzuki's second overtime game winner in his rookie OHL season.

Suzuki now has 15 goals on the season, which makes him 5th all time for underage goal scorers in Owen Sound history.

Jacob Friend tied the game at 1-1 with a third-period goal for the Attack (23-19-9).

Thomas Schemitsch assisted on both goals.

Boris Katchouk opened the scoring earlier in the third period for Sault Ste. Marie (24-21-7).

Michael McNiven made 21 saves for his 16th victory of the season for Owen Sound.

Brandon Halverson made 38 saves but took the loss for the Greyhounds.

The victory for Owen Sound also snaps a five game losing streak head to head against the Soo Greyhounds.

Both teams are tied for 6th place in the OHL Western Conference with 55 points, but Owen Sound has played one less game.

The Attack will continue their road trip Saturday night when they play in Flint against the Firebirds at 7:30 PM.

Flint is coming off a 3-2 upset victory over Kitchener on Friday.
