Colts Beat Generals Again

Mangiapane scores as Colts win their 4th straight


The Barrie Colts defeated Oshawa Generals.
This time on their own turf as Andrew Mangiapane again led the way to a 4 - 1 win last night.
The game had a quiet start. The Colts (30-16-0-2) had several close calls, but it was scoreless after the first period. 
Mangiapane opened the scoring with his goal on a breakaway in the 2nd period.
Giordano Finoro followed with his goal, to allow the Colts to grab a 2 - 0 lead heading into the third period.
Barrie scored two more goals from Dylan Sadowy and Cordell James. 
Generals forward Joe Manchurek broke up Mackenzie Blackwood's shutout bid with his third period goal. 
Blackwood finished with 25 saves. 
Generals (18-25-3-4) Jeremy Brodeur stopped 36 shots.
Oshawa went 1-for-7 on the powerplay and Barrie finished 0-for-4. 
The Colts play the Mississauga Steelheads tomorrow night at the Barrie Molson Centre.
