Konecny Traded in Blockbuster

Konecny joins the Sarnia Sting, Graves and Harper also dealt in the OHL.

A couple of big trades in the OHL.

The Sarnia Sting acquired forwards Travis Konecny and Sam Studnicka as well as a draft pick from the Ottawa 67's for Sasha Chmelevski, Chase Campbell and eight draft picks, plus two more conditional picks.

Those picks three second rounders, three third rounders, and two fifth rounders -- plus the two conditional picks are both second round picks in 2021 and 2022.

The Niagara IceDogs acquired overage forward Stephen Harper and a draft pick from Hamilton for Evan Krassey and four draft picks -- two second rounders, a third round pick and a fifth round pick.

The London Knights also acquired overage defenceman Jacob Graves and a third round pick from Oshawa for forward Eric Henderson.

Owen Sound Attack GM Dale DeGray says he continues to talk with teams about potential trades.

The Barrie Colts are also expected to make some moves before Monday's trade deadline.
