The 2015 Ontario College Athletic Association Mens Baseball Provincial Championship will be hosted by the Fanshawe College Falcons this Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24, 2015.  All games are being played a Labatt Memorial Park in London, Ontario, considered the oldest active baseball field in the world.

The Saint Clair Saints are the top seed after a perfect 20-0 record during the regular season.  Second seed Humber Hawks and third seed Fanshawe Falcons finished the regular season with identical 12-8 records with Humber getting the nod thanks to their higher runs for.  The underdog Durham Lords finished the regular season with a record of 8-12.

Game 1 of the championships is Friday morning at 11am as the host Fanshawe College Falcons take on the second seed Humber Hawks.  That is immediately followed by the second game of the championship at 1:30pm as the Saint Clair Saints take on the Durham Lords.

There is a local flavor to this championship as Tyler Middleton of Saugeen Shores is a pitcher for the Fanshawe squad.  He appeared in 5 games this season (second most on the team) with 17.1 innings pitched (second most on the team).  This is his third season in college after a freshman year at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in Michigan, and a Sophomore year at Erie Community College in Buffalo.  He was 9th in the OCAA with an ERA of 4.85 and 12th in the OCAA with 4.85 strikeouts per game.
