Baycats Crush Royals

DeGrace with 5 hits, 4 RBIs, and 3 runs scored in Barrie win over Guelph.


Barrie delivered a Royal beating on Guelph.
 
The Baycats catcher had a big night at the plate as Kyle DeGrace went 5-for-6, drove in 4 runs, and scored 3 times as the Baycats crushed the Royals 14-2 on Thursday night.
 
Barrie scored at least one run in every inning except the 4th.
 
6 of the 9 Baycats hitters had at least two hits in the game.
 
Santos Arias went 7 innings for the Baycats (26-6) giving up 2 unearned runs on 9 hits, walking none, and striking out 8.
 
Darren Dwyer went 2-for-3 with an R-B-I and a run scored for the Royals (3-27).
 
The same two teams play each other two more times to wrap up the Intercounty League regular season.
 
The next game goes Saturday afternoon in Guelph.
