Canadians Face Swedes in Quarters

Team Canada remains perfect in preliminary round of 2015 U18 Championship

Canada is the number one seed in Group B during preliminary round action at the 2015 IIHF U18 World Championship in Switzerland. 

The Canuks beat Finland 3-2 yesterday and will now play Sweden in the Quarterfinals, starting on Thursday.

The Canadians are undefeated thus far (4-0), while the Swedes have 1-3 record in Group A.

During Wednesday's tilt with the Fins, Tyler Benson had the game winner.

After falling behind early, the Canadians scored three unanswered goals in the second.

Owen Sound Attack forward Petrus Palmu has one power play goal, three assists and five shots on net so far this tournament.
