Wardell With Winner

Brock Wardell one of several Grey Bruce players to win Broomball medals.

A number of players from Bruce and Grey Counties won medals at the National Juvenile Broomball Championships in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba

Mildmay Twisted Sister won the " B " Side Gold Medal with a 3-0 win over Saskatchewan

Jess McGregor of the Kilsyth Young Guns posted the shutout for Mildmay.

The Ottawa Eastern Thunder won the " A " side bronze medal with a 2-1 overtime victory over Quebec

Patti Scarrow of the Young Guns plays for Ottawa

The Palmerston Posse won the silver medal after a 1-0 loss to Quebec

The Ottawa Valley Gamblers blanked Manitoba 2-0 to capture the Bronze medal. 

Brock Wardell of the Kilsyth Flyers had the winning goal for the Gamblers
