Owen Sound Native Larisa Yurkiw had a DNF in the Ladies Super G on Monday at the Alpine Skiing World Cup in Cortina d'Ampezzo Italy.

American Lindsey Vonn provisionally won the super-G to break Annemarie Moser-Proell's 35-year-old record of 62 World Cup victories.

For win number 63, the American clocked 1 minute 27.03 seconds down the Olympia delle Tofane course to finish 0.85 ahead of Anna Fenninger of Austria.

For Yurkiw, she finished 24th Sunday in the Slalom event with a time of 1:41.74.

And of course last week Yurkiw had a second place finish in the Downhill event.

It was the 26 year old's first ever World Cup podium finish.
