Medical assessments will be conducted this week for two Owen Sound Attack players.
Both Holden Cook, whose arm is in a sling -- and Ryan Heeps, who is on crutches -- will be evaluated in order to determine the severity of the injuries they suffered and how long they will be out of action.
The early speculation is that both Cook and Heeps will miss significant time with their respective injuries.
Once the evaluations are completed, the Attack will have a better idea on how to proceed with their roster.
Underage forward Kevin Hancock has already played in seven games for the Attack and may not be utilized this weekend with just one game on the schedule; Saturday against Kitchener.
Meanwhile Defenceman Jacob Friend of the Cobourg Cougars might be another option for the Attack this weekend for the game against the Rangers
The other possibilities are that Owen Sound may make a transaction to add a body or, with just one game on the schedule this week, the Attack may go with a short bench.
