The Jim Wilson Orillia Terriers riding a hot stick and a hot goaltender to a win in Coldwater.

Jason Binnie scored twice and Gordie Weiss made 47 saves as the Terriers defeated the Huntsville Otters 4-1 in Georgian Mid Ontario Junior C Hockey at the Coldwater Community Centre on Sunday.

It was all Terriers from start to finish as Binnie opened the scoring with his two goals for 2-0 first period lead.

Jacob Beard put Orillia up 3-0 midway through the 2nd before Josh Zantingh answered for Huntsville 2 minutes later.

Matthew White added an empty-netter late in the 3rd period for the Terriers (6-6-0-0).

Connor Christiansen had 45 saves for the Otters (7-6-0-0).

Huntsville had plenty of opportunities especially on the power play where they had the man advantage 10 times but failed to score, Orillia went 0-for-3.

The next game for the Terriers is this Saturday against the Schomberg Cougars at Rotary Place.
