Walker Weighs In, Storm Visit Attack

Guelph | by Fred Wallace

Interview with Storm Coach Scott Walker they visit Owen Sound in OHL action.

The Owen Sound Attack play their fourth straight OHL game against a divisional opponent Saturday night when they host the Guelph Storm at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre.

The Storm are the defending Ontario Hockey League champions and were within one victory of claiming the 2014 Memorial Cup at London.

In spite of the loss in the Memorial Cup Final, Storm coach Scott Walker remains very proud of the team they structured in Guelph and believes the loss in the one-game Memorial Cup Final is not blemish whatsoever.

Walker -- who played for the Owen Sound Platers from 1991 to 1993 -- admits this year's edition of the Storm is vastly less experienced, but he says that increases the emphasis on teaching the game, a facet he enjoys.

Game time Saturday is 7:30 PM.

On Sunday, the Attack are at home again when they host Ottawa at 2 PM.
