Owen Sound pitcher Matt Wardrop has returned from the World Junior Fastball Championship Tournament in Whitehorse.
Wardrop pitched for Canada who finished 7th at the event.
While Wardrop wanted a better result, he returns very enthused about the experience and the level of play at the international event.
Wardrop's stay in Owen Sound will be brief as he has pitching duties in Napanee, Newfoundland & Irma, Alberta over the next three weeks.
He spoke to Fred Wallace about the World Juniors and what's ahead this summer.
