Dozen CHLers at American Camp

12 CHL players invited to USA Junior Evaluation Camp set for August

The Canadian Hockey League today announced that 12 CHL players are among the 42 invited by USA Hockey to the U.S National Junior Evaluation Camp August 2-9 in Lake Place, New York.  

The players will be competing for a spot on the U.S National Junior Team that will take part in the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship to be held in Toronto and Montreal.

Of the 12 CHL players, Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Adam Erne of the Quebec Remparts is the only returning member of Team USA who finished fifth at the 2014 World Junior Championship.  Also invited is OHL Goaltender of the Year and 2014 NHL Draft prospect Alex Nedeljkovic of the Plymouth Whalers who captured gold with Team USA at the 2014 IIHF Under-18 World Championship. 

The camp will be held at the Lake Placid Olympic Center and will include international games against Sweden, Finland and the Czech Republic.
