Tough Loss for North Stars

Owen Sound loses 10-9 in overtime to first place Ennismore James Gang.

A very entertaining Senior Lacrosse game but a loss for the Owen Sound Quantum Properties North Stars.

Owen Sound lost 10-9 in overtime to the first place Ennismore James Gang at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre on Saturday night.

Gavin Barrie broke a 9-9 tie in overtime and scored the game winning goal with 26 seconds remaining.

The game was tied at 7-7 after three periods.

Travis Gibbons led the North Stars attack with three goals and six points while Adam Jones had two goals and five points.

Kyle Clancy led the Ennismore offence with three goals and four points.

Owen Sound never led in this game and fall to "2 and 6" on the year while Ennismore remains in first place with a record of "10 and 1."
