Grey Bruce Connections in the NHL

Two debuts, plus several ex Attackers score in busy night in the NHL.

The 12 game slate in the NHL on Tuesday marked the debut of a couple of hockey players who played prominent roles in Grey Bruce.

Kevin Czuczman of Port Elgin played more than 20 minutes on the blueline for the New York Islanders in a 6-0 loss to Minnesota.

Former Attack Captain Garrett Wilson also played more than 8 minutes for the Florida Panthers in their 3-2 win in San Jose.

It was also a good night for former Attack players on the scoresheet.

Bobby Ryan scored his 23rd in a losing cause for Ottawa, as they dropped an 8-4 contest to the New York Rangers.

Andrew Shaw scored his 17th of the season for the Chicago Blackhawks in their 3-2 overtime loss to Philadelphia.

Joel Ward scored his 21st of the season and was named the game's first star in Washington's 3-2 win in Anaheim.
