The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks have a hole to get out of, being down 2-0 to the Elora Rocks in their best of seven North Division semi-final series.
At the Plex, the Hawks sent the game into overtime with two goals in the dying minutes of regulation.
But it only took 36 seconds for the Rocks to score in OT to take the game, 5-4 on Saturday night.
Hawks player of the game Brandon Haefling -- who scored the tying marker in the 3rd -- says there's still life in his team and they'll regroup for next weekend's games.
Coach Peter Roedger says they are very familiar with the Rocks and he says philosophically, they have to win one Elora anyway so it might as well be this Friday.
It was a chippy affair with 21 penalties called split between the two clubs.
All penalties were minors.
Scoring for the Hawks besides Haefling, were Nick Quaid; Trevor Smith and Brent MacDermid.
The Hawks had two power play goals as did the Rocks.
Next game in the series is Friday night in Elora.
Game time is 8:30 PM.
