Attack Lose to Saginaw

Saginaw beats Owen Sound 5-2 to regain 6th in the OHL Western Conference.

Owen Sound lost 5-2 to Saginaw in the Ontario Hockey League on Saturday night.

The Spirit's Eric Locke spent much of the night in the penalty box, but still managed a goal and three points in the win.

Daniel Milne and Kyle Platzer scored for the Attack in the losing cause.

Despite the loss, it was a special night for fans and former Plater Andrew Brunette who was honoured in a ceremony prior to the game.

With the win, Saginaw moves to 6th place with 61 points on the season, and has a two point lead on the Attack, albeit a game up on Owen Sound

The Attack meanwhile play a make up game against Guelph Monday night.
