CWOSSA Swim Results

St Mary's and West Hill swimmers advance to Ontario Championships.

Mike Bonnert of the St Mary's Mustangs won the 100 metre freestyle at the CWOSSA swim championships held at Laurier University in Waterloo.

Bonnert now advances to the OFSAA Championship

Austin Hatcher of the Mustangs also qualified for OFSAA in four different events on Wednesday. 

The OFSAA Swim Championships are set for Tuesday March 4th and Wednesday March 5th at The Wayne Gretzky Centre in Brantford


The West Hill swim team competed at CWOSSA in Waterloo on Wednesday.

Three relays teams have advanced to OFSAA as well as two individual swimmers.

In the Girls 200 medley relay, Ryann Worthington, Joanne Diemert, Meghan Sauro and Sarah Haefling finished forth and move on to OFSAA.

In the Girls 400 freestyle relay, Megan Sauro, Ryann Worthington, Quinn Worthington and Joanne Diemert also move on to OFSAA.

In the boys 200 medley relay, Ian Dickey, William Luders, Justin Simmons and Thomas Brown have qualified to compete at OFSAA.

In individual events, Joanne Diemert qualified for OFSAA in the 100m breaststroke, as well as Thomas Brown will move on in the 50 freestyle and 100 IM.

Also congratualtions to Cassie Reedman who came first in the 50m backstroke.
