Platzer Leads Attack in Ottawa

Platzer has a three point game as the Owen Sound Attack beat Ottawa 5-4.

The Owen Sound Attack ended their annual OHL eastern road swing with a 5-4 win in Ottawa on Family Day Monday.

Kyle Platzer had two goals and three points for the Attack who won two of their three games on the annual Eastern Division road swing.

Holden Cook also had two goals for the Attack who won at Kingston and Ottawa, but lost in between at Belleville

Santino Centerame had the other goal in the victory as the Attack built a 3-0 lead after 22 minutes, then held off Ottawa for the rest of the game.

Erik Bradford and Connor Brown both scored twice for the 67's

Bradford thought he had another goal early in the third period but it was waved off after video review

Brandon Hope got the win in goal for Owen Sound who remain 7th in the Western Conference, two points back of Saginaw

Friday, Owen Sound is at Kitchener to face the Rangers who have picked up at least a point in five straight games.
