Storm Grab First in OHL

Guelph routs Kitchener to jump over Erie into top spot in the OHL.

Two games in the Ontario Hockey League on Tuesday night.

The Guelph Storm hammered Kitchener 10-4 -- Scott Kosmachuk had four goals for the Storm who now sit in first place in the OHL's overall standings

Peterborough also edged Ottawa 4-3

Storm 10 Rangers 4

Scott Kosmachuk had 4 goals & 5 points for Guelph who take over top spot in the OHL's overall standings

Robby Fabbri, Nick Ebert, Ryan Horvat, Kerby Rychel, Brock McGinn and Zack Mitchell also scored for the Storm

Justin Bailey had a hat trick for Kitchener with Matia Marcantuoni picking up the other Rangers goal

Kitchener will be in Owen Sound to meet the Attack on Friday night.



Petes 4 67's 3

Josh MacDonald and Nelson Armstrong scored 19 seconds apart in the 3rd period for the Petes

Eric Cornel and Nick Ritchie also scored for Peterborough.

Sam Studnicka, Connor Brown and Alex Lintuniemi had the goals for the 67's.
