The Barrie Colts are sending one of their forwards to Peterborough.
19-year-old Josh MacDonald is going to the Petes in exchange for a conditional 15th round pick in 2014.
The team says if MacDonald appears in one game with the Petes, Barrie will receive London's 4th round pick in 2014, and a 6th round pick in 2014, and a conditional 4th round pick in 2015 from Peterborough.
Macdonald has played his entire OHL career with the Colts after being selected in the 3rd round (61st overall) in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection draft.
He has 3 goals and 5 assists in 14 games this season.
In 135 career OHL games the London native has 21 goals, 24 assists for 45 points while registering 59 penalty minutes.
He also has plenty of playoff experience appearing in 35 post-season games and scoring a total of 10 points.
