Frontenacs Win Showdown

Kingston beats the Soo in battle of teams who were unbeaten in regulation.

There were five games in the Ontario Hockey League on Sunday.

Here is a recap of all of the action. 



Frontenacs 3 Greyhounds 2

Henri Ikonen scored twice for the Frontenacswho are first in the eastern Conference.

Jean Dupuy had the other goal for Kingston who are undefeated in regulation time this season.

Jorgen Karterud and Darnell Nurse scored for the Greyhounds who lost for the first time in regulation on the year.



Generals 4 Storm 1

Scott Laughton scored once and set up two more for the Generals

Michael Dal Colle, Jimi Kuronen and former Stayner Siskin Bradley Latour also scored for Oshawa

Zack Mitchell scored the lone goal for the Storm, who have dropped back-to-back contests after starting the season with four straight wins.




Spitfires 7 IceDogs 4

Josh Ho-Sang had two goals while Kerby Rychel scored once and set up three more for the Spitfires

Brady Vail, Remy Giftopoulos, Slater Koekkoek and Eric Diodati also scored for Windsor

The IceDogs got goals from Mack Lemmon, Carter Verhaeghe, Mitchell Fitzmorris and Blake Siebenaler.





Battalion 4 Steelheads 1

Brandon Robinson had a pair of goals for North Bay

Jamie Lewis and Brenden Miller added the other goals for the Battalion

Trevor Carrick had the lone goal for Mississauga



67's 3 Petes 2 (OT)

Brendan Bell had the shootout winner for the 67's

Former Attack first rounder Jacob Middleton and Taylor Fielding also scored for Ottawa

Clark Seymour and Stephen Nosad scored for the Petes
