Minor Fastball Scores Posted as Received by Bayshore Broadcasting News

One game in WOAA Midget Fastball

Desboro Fluker Electric edged Teeswater 12-10

Brandon Bell & Dustin Jones had home runs for Fluker Electrical

 

The T. McComb Sawmilling Shallow Lake Sting Pee Wee Boys Fastball team played at the Mount Forest Fireworks Festival Fastball tournament on the weekend.

The PeeWee Boys first winning games were against Twin Centre and Rockwood bringing us to the championship game.

The PeeWee Boys were able to gain the Championship Title against Arthur with a score of 4-2.

Mitch McComb, Mathew Woodruff and Owen Torrie were the winning pitchers for the weekend.



At the Stouffville Peewee Tournament..

Owen Sound Debbie Aiken peewees won the consolation final 12-0 over Bracebridge.  

Wade Kewageshig allowed 2 hits and struck out 3 for the win in the mercy rule shortened game.

Noah Solinger, Joel Cox, and Jack Armstrong all had 2 hits in the final.

Game 1
Owen Sound 12 Grimsby 0
Wade Kewageshig allowed 1 hit 1 walk and struck out 9 in 3 innings of work for the win.
Alex MacNeil retired all three batters he faced in the 4th.
Eric Charlebois and Alex MacNeil both had three hits while Joel Cox, Jack Armstrong and Garrett McNabb had two hits each.

Game 2
Owen Sound 16 East Gwillimbury 3
Wade Kewageshig allowed 2 runs on 2 hits walked 3 and struck out 4 in 2 innings work.
Garrett McNabb allowed 1 run on 2 hits and struck out 3 in his two innings of work.
Noah Solinger was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and Eric Charlebois was 2 for 2 in the win.

Game 3
Topham 12 Owen Sound 0
Wade Kewageshig took the loss giving up 2 hits and walking 3 in two innings work.
Alex MacNeil didn't fare out any better with the team making 7 errors in the game.
Only a couple of the runs were earned.
Joel Cox had Owen Sounds only 2 hits in the game




At the Stouffville Squirt Fastball Tournament

Owen Sound Swiss Chalet Squirts lost 7-0 in the Consolation final of  the tournament.

SwissChalet went 2 & 2 at the tournament
 
Donovan Kewageshig was the pitcher of record for all four games pitching great but ran out of steam in the final

Game one
SwissChalet 11 Grimsby 10
Donovan Kewageshig got the win allowing 10 runs on 3 hits 8 walks and struck out 7 in 4 innings
Jarred Cameron had 2 hits and Wyatt Gollum hit a grand slam in the win

Game 2
SwissChalet 9 Cambridge 7
Donovan Kewageshig got the win allowing 2 run 3 innings walking 4 and striking out 7.
Jayden Soloman, Donovan Kewageshig and Liam Hill all scored two runs in the win

Game 3
Topham 7 SwissChalet 5
Donovan Kewageshig took the loss allowing 7 runs on 2 hits walking 7 and striking out 9 in four innings
Liam Hill scored twice in the loss
