Ontario Blue Jays Advance

Middleton pitches in victory for the Ontario Blue Jays in Florida.

Port Elgin native pitcher Tyler Middleton and the 18 Under Ontario Blue Jays White team is in Fort Myers, Florida for the 2013 AAU Baseball Upperclassmen National Championship.
In A Pool Play over the weekend the Jays started with a 10-9 win over the LB Warriors of Louisiana.
They kept their perfect start in tact with a 6-5 win over the Virginia Storm on Sunday morning.  Middleton started the game and pitched four innings allowing four runs, three of them earned.  He left with the lead however the Jays would give the lead back before winning the game in the bottom of the 7th inning.
The on Sunday afternoon they lost their first game of pool play 8-3 to Tuscaloosa Baseball.
The double elimination portion of the tournament begins Monday at 1 for the Ontario Blue Jays white team as they will face the LB Warriors of Louisiana.

At this point Middleton is not scheduled to start this game but will be available from the bullpen if needed.
