The second annual Orangey is set for July 26th and 27th.

The second annual Orangey is scheduled for Fri. July 26 & Sat., July 27 at the outdoor arena pad in lovely Formosa, ON. It promises to be even bigger and better than the inaugural Orangey played last July.
The tourney is played 4-on-4, and each team is guaranteed three games. All the action begins the evening of July 26, with one team hoisting the Indy-5 Cup on July 27.
Sunday, July 28 is being held as a rain date.
Registration is just $250/team, so get yours organized today – the Orangey will be capped at 16 teams.
A $50 deposit is required one week before the event.
Each team must have four players and a goaltender, but no more than 13 in total.
There is just one, open division and everybody is eligible – regardless of age of gender, making it a true championship.
In addition to the game action, there will also be an elimination shootout, a hardest shot competition and other great draws and giveaways, including the crowd pleasing “Rolling of the Oranges.”
We will have special guests dropping by all weekend long, including Miss Orangeville 2012, Ashley Duern.
Our prize table includes all kinds of sweet gear from backsideFIVE, official NHL jersyes – including a Team Canada 1987 Gretzky jersey, a Sidney Crosby autographed stick (with COA), items signed by Mario Lemiuex, Jaromir Jagr, Jarome Iginla, Danel Alfredsson, shirts, posters and much, much more.
Proceeds from this year’s Orangey go to the Canadian Cancer Society, through the Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer initiative.
Kincardine native Scott McKay is the spokesman for this year’s Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer event. The Kincardine District Secondary School boys hockey program and the Formosa Lions Club will also both benifit from this year’s Orangey.
