A fine night for Barrie Colts forward Mitchell Theoret.
His hat trick helped the Colts win Game 2 of their OHL playoff series against Oshawa.
Trailing 1-0 in the second period, Theoret's first goal came short-handed to tie the game at 1-1 then scored less than 3 minutes later to give Barrie a 2-1 lead.
Andreas Athanasiou made it 3-1 with his goal just 62 seconds after that.
Theoret would get his third goal of the game -- a power play goal -- into an empty net late in the third period for a 4-1 Colts victory and a 2-0 series lead.
Athanasiou also collected 2 assists in the game.
Scott Laughton got the only goal for the Generals.
Mathias Neiderberger turned away 29 shots for the Colts while Daniel Altshuller made 40 saves for the Generals.
