Attack Light The Lamp Nine Times

Owen Sound beats the Otters 9-1 and move closer to clinching third place

The Owen Sound Attack are now just a few points away from clinching third place in the OHL's Western Conference.

The Attack worked the Erie Otters 9-1 Friday night in Owen Sound.

Arturs Gavrus scored three times and Daniel Milne had four assists.

Zach Nastasiuk scored once and set up two more for the Attack (40-18-6) while Daniel Catenacci, Gemel Smith, Steven Janes, Jaden Lindo and Chris Bigras had a goal apiece.
Jordan Binnington made 25 saves for the win as Oscar Dansk took the loss after allowing five goals on 18 shots before getting pulled midway through the second period.

With the Attack win, Owen Sound now move to 86 points on the year while the Kitchener Rangers sit at 83 points after they lost in the shootout to Saginaw 4-3.

The Attack and Otters play again tonight at 7:30 PM at the Bayshore Community Centre.
