Owen Sound now in sole possession of third place in the Western Conference

The Owen Sound Attack are now in sole possession of third place in the OHL's Western Conference.

The Attack won their third straight on Monday with a 3-2 win in Peterborough.

Cody Ceci had two goals in the game -- giving him 15 on the year -- and Kyle Hope had the other goal for Owen Sound.

Brandon Hope picked up the win in net for the Attack -- which is his 10th of the season.

Owen Sound clinched a playoff birth with the win and are now two points up on Kitchener in their division and in the Western Conference.

The Rangers lost 5-3 to Guelph on Monday.

The Attack now have 18 wins on the road this year and only have four road games left in the regular season -- two of which are against Barrie.

On Thursday, Owen Sound will play the Colts in Barrie.
