Attack Fall to the Knights

London | by Fred Wallace

Griffith goal with only four seconds left kills the Attack comeback.

It was a heart breaker for the Owen Sound Attack, as they lost 3-2 in the final seconds of their game in London on Friday night.

There were two goals scored in the final minute of the OHL game.

Seth Griffith deflected his second goal of the game into the net with just four seconds left in the third to stun the Owen Sound Attack.

For London, the 3-2 win last night sets a franchise record of 19 consecutive victories including three over the Attack this season.

Daniel Catenacci had tied the game for Owen Sound with just 24 seconds to play before Griffith got his second goal to win it for the Knights.

Brandon Hope had a great game in goal for the Attack in his first start with Jordan Binnington away at the World Junior championship.

He gave up two deflection goals, both by Griffith.

Owen Sound has now lost three games in a row and is home to Brampton on Saturday.

Game time is 7:30 PM at the Bayshore.
