Members of two GMHL teams are paying the price for their actions at the Showcase Classic tournament in Rama.

The league announced on Friday that South Muskoka Shield Owner, Head Coach, and G-M Dallyn Telford and Bradford Rattlers Head Coach and G-M Johan Lundskog have each been suspended for two games.

In addition, Lundskog also suspended two unnamed Rattler players indefinitely for their involvement in an off-ice altercation with a South Muskoka player.

The incident happened on Thursday when the two teams were playing in the semi-final game.

Reports say a fight that began on the ice during the game and carried over off the ice in to the dressing room area.

GMHL President Bob Russell tells Bayshore Broadcasting News the league is investigating the incident.

He says there will be a hearing on the incident on Monday morning.

Russell says he has learned that police in Rama are investigating the incident but has not been contacted.

The league disqualified the two teams from the tournament which was won by Bracebridge.
