Dundas Takes Out Orillia

Orillia | by Ken Hashizume

Strong second and third period wasn't enough for Tundras to overcome deficit.

It was another tough game for the Orillia Tundras.

The Dundas Real McCoys used a strong first period to beat the Tundras on Friday night.

The Real McCoys opened with a 4-0 lead after one and hung on for a 6-3 victory.

Orillia battled back in the second on goals by Jason Visser, Lorne Tessier, and Travis Fuller and trailed 5-3 at the end of two.

Justin Davis had two goals in that first period for the Real McCoys.

Cam Watson also had a pair, Scott Charboneau and T-J Sakaluk each had one.

After a shaky first period, Dan Earles was strong the rest of the way in net making 33 saves in the game for the Tundras who fall to 2-8-and-0.

The Tundras are in Welland Saturday night for a game against the Whalers.
