Alliston Santos 2 Owen Sound Strikers 1 in penalty kicks

 

Meanwhile, Owen Sound Grey Motors United has advanced to the Championship Final in the York Region Soccer League's Premier Division.

Grey Motors was to meet Newmarket in a semifinal match, but Newmarket cold not make any of the proposed playoff dates presented and as a result, Owen Sound advances.

The Premier Division Final will be Sunday September 16th at the Nottawasaga Inn pitch in Alliston.

The game between the Port Elgin Blue Devils and Wiarton Red Devils scheduled for last night at Lakeview Park was cancelled as Wiarton couldn't field a team.

The Blue Devils are scheduled to be at home tonight when they host the Elmwood Cameron Funeral Home Smoke at 8:30 pm
