Emmanuel Christian advances to the OFSAA Championship next week in Port Elgin

The Chesley District Lady Cougars lost their semifinal match to Valley Heights


Boys Final

Waterford Wolves 4 Walkerton District Raiders 0

Both Waterford & Walkerton now advance to the OFSAA " A " Championship at Windsor June 7-9.



CWOSSA " AA " Girls Soccer Qualifier

Kincardine District Lady Knights 3 OSCVI Falcons 1

Andrea Plagos, Faith Mwasalla and Kristen Derksen scored for Kincardine

The Knights advance to the CWOSSA Championship tournament at Palmerston on Thursday.



CWOSSA " AA " Boys Soccer Qualifier

OSCVI Falcons 4 Saugeen District Royals 2

Shawn Eames led the Falcons with 2 goals while Simon Petersen and Eric Trinh had single markers for OSCVI

With the victory, OSCVI now advances to the CWOSSA " AA " Championship at Palmerston on Thursday

Carter Gibson had both goals for Saugeen in a losing cause )

Sean Harrington scored the game winner on a penalty kick for the Strikers with 6 minutes to play

Chris Mahy posted his second straight shutout for Owen Sound who start the year at 2 & 0

Tuesday, the Strikers are at home again when they host Orillia

The Owen Sound Brick Brothers Volkswagen Selects swept the Durham Dodgers 3-2 & 4-0

In the opener Caleb Keeshig struck out 14 and Adam Long had a homer and scored twice for the Selects

In the second game, Matt Wardrop pitched a 4 hit shutout while Adam Stuck had a home run and scored twice for Owen Sound.
