The CWOSSA " A " Soccer Championships are being staged today at the Kiwanis Soccer Complex in Owen Sound

The Chesley District Lady Cougars are in the Girls Division while the Walkerton District Raiders are in the Boys division.

The Girls Final is at 2 pm this afternoon with the winner advancing to the OFSAA Championship June 7th-9th at Port Elgin

The Boys Final is at 4 pm with the winner earning the right to advance to OFSAA at Windsor June 7th-9th

Division One

Barrie Spirit at Owen Sound Strikers   

The Strikers are 1 & 0 on the season

Game time is 8:45 pm @ Kiwanis Soccer Complex

Thursday, the Owen Sound Grey Motors United will host Orangeville @ the Kiwanis Soccer Complex

Thursday, the Owen Sound Bluewater ProTeam NorthStars will host Orangeville at the JD McArthur Arena

Orangeville holds down the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, 4 points ahead of Owen Sound.



The OFSAA Regional Track & Field Meet is this weekend at Windsor

The Grey Highlands Lions have two athletes competing in the Midget Division.

Carter Franks qualified with 2nd place at CWOSSA in Kitchener in the 100 metre hurdles and Kirsten Neuteboom will be competing in high jump.
