The Sports this morning is brought to you by the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League

The Attack will play their first home game of the playoffs tomorrow night when they host Kitchener at the JD McArthur Arena

 

 

OFSAA " A-AA " Boys Hockey Championship

at Peterborough

Kincardine District Knights 4 Holy Cross of Peterborough 1

Paul Lamont, Mitch Dickson, Keegan McLelland & Gerrit Satosek scored for the Knights who improved to 3 & 0 in Pool play.

KDSS has one final round robin game to play this morning at 10:15 against Fort Francis before the playoff round commences this afternoon

Kincardine is expected to be at least one player short due to suspension after an an end of game incident led to a line brawl between the Knights and Holy Cross yesterday.

Alex Friesen had a hat trick for the IceDogs who lead the series 1-0

 

Ottawa 3 Belleville 2 in overtime

Tyler Toffoli scored the game winner for Ottawa who lead 1-0

 

Barrie 3 St Mike's 1

Ivan Telegin had a pair of goals for the Colts as Barrie took a 1-0 series lead

 

Tonight, the Owen Sound Attack are at Kitchener to meet the Rangers in Game 1 of their Western Conference Quarterfinal

 In the 1200 metre Freestlye sprints, Eli Heyden Thomas of the Georgian Bay Nordic squad placed 8th in Junior Boys Division with time of 2:45

In 800 metre Juvenile Boys Freestyle Sprint, Julian Smith of the Georgian Bay Nordic team qualified 11th in 1:48

The Owen Sound Cresent Club Attack Major Midgets are competing in the OMHA Midget " A " Championship against Quinte West

The series is tied 1-1

Games 3 & 4 will be Saturday afternoon at 2 pm and Sunday afternoon at 4 pm at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore

Admission to the games is FREE, but the Midgets are requesting all fans bring a donation to the Food Bank
