Attack Lose to Sudbury

Sudbury | by Bayshore News Staff

A tough start to a weekend road swing for the Attack.

Owen Sound has now lost 3 straight in the Ontario Hockey League.

The Attack lost last night's game in Sudbury 4-3 to the Wolves in a shoot out.

Sudbury started the scoring just 77 seconds into the game.

Owen Sound's scoring came later - when the Attack were trailing 2 nothing.

Despite three consecutive goals and a 3-2 lead with just over four minutes to go - Sudbury scored to tie things up.

Overtime proved fruitless and Josh Leivo (Lee-voh) got the game winning goal in the shoot out for Sudbury.

Owen Sound has now lost both meetings to the Wolves this year in a shoot out.

Prior to the game - Mark Burgess and his Burgess family was honoured for 25 years of family ownership of the Sudbury Wolves in a pre-game ceremony.

Tonight - the Attack will look to snap that 3 game losing streak when they play in Sault Ste Marie.

The Greyhounds are coming off a 1 nothing loss in a shoot out to Saginaw.
