A heartbreak loss in a gutsy effort for the Owen Sound Attack Saturday night in Belleville.
The Bulls Adam Payerl scored with just 18 seconds left in the third period to lift the Belleville Bulls over the Attack 2-1.
The Bulls, who are now 9-7-0, were led by Brendan Gaunce who had a goal and an assist.
The lone Attack goal came off the stick of Jarrod Maidens.
With the loss the Attack fall to 8-12-2 on the season.
In his first game since September 29th, due to an ankle injury, Malcolm Subban stopped 29 of 30 shots for the win.
Scott Stajcer made 27 saves for the loss.
The Attack failed to score a goal on seven powerplay chances.
Sunday the Attack are in Kingston at 2pm to end a Eastern road swing.

The Niagara IceDogs downed the Kitchener Rangers 3-1 and a night after beating the Attack, the Peterborough Petes defeated the Sudbury Wolves 4-2.
