Attack Lose Home and Home Opener

The Rangers beat the Attack at home 5-3, Kitchener travels to Owen Sound tonight.

The Owen Sound Attack fell 5-3 to the Kitchener Rangers in the first game of their home and home OHL weekend series.

Andrew Crescenzi had a two goal game, including the empty netter to clinch it,  as Kitchener beat the Attack 5-3 on Friday night.

The Rangers had a 3-0 lead early in the second and would go on to post the victory over Owen Sound, as Kitchener improves its' record to "4 and 3" on the season.

Gemel Smith on a power play, Daniel Catenacci, and Zach Nastasiuk scored for the Attack in a losing cause.

Owen Sound has now lost two games in a row and has an overall record of "5 and 6" -- and return home to face the Rangers again tonight.

Game time is 7:30 PM at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
