Owen Sound Attack 6 Plymouth Whalers 2

Brendan Childerley scored twice for the Attack in their season & home opener

Gemel Smith, Daniel Catenacci, Zach Nastasiuk & Joseph Blandisi also scored for the Attack.

J.P. Cesario won his first OHL start while both Nastasiuk & Blandisi scored their first career OHL goals

Tomorrow night, the Attack will play their first road game of the season when they travel to Guelph to meet the Storm.

Curling Meeting

The Grey Bruce Major League Curling meeting will take place at the Port Elgin Curling Club on Wednesday, October the 5th at 8pm.

Lyman Wins Award

The W.O.A.A. Annual General Meeting was held this week.

Larry Lyman of Shallow Lake was presented with the Mike Weichel Award for his dedication and outstanding efforts on behalf of Minor Sports.

Lyman has been a tireless worker, primarily for Shallow Lake Minor Hockey, in a variety of capacities
