Woodies Lose in Ontario Final

Owen Sound loses fourth straight, 9-6 to St. Catherines Saints who win Ontario title.

The 'drive for five' is over for the Owen Sound Quantum Properties Woodsmen.

The Woodies quest for a fifth straight Ontario Senior Mens Lacrosse title ended on Friday night with a 9-6 loss in St. Catherines.

The Saints won four straight games after trailing two games to none to win the best of seven series in six games.

The Saints also win the title in their first year on the floor.

St. Catherines now have a week of practice before heading to Akwesasne for the Presidents Cup, the Canadian Lacrosse Championship on August 29th.
