There are reports that for the first time those options include a group interested in moving the team to Winnipeg. The Thrashers would not confirm negotiations with True North Sports & Entertainment, who would relocate the team to Manitoba.

The N-B-A's draft lottery goes tonight in New Jersey. The Toronto Raptors have a 15-point-6 per cent chance of winning the lottery for the first pick overall after finishing 28th out of 30 teams. Minnesota has the best chance at 25 per cent, followed by Cleveland.

The Jays’ victory put an end to Detroit’s 7-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the New York Yankees have their first six-game losing streak in four years after blowing a 5-1 lead last night against Tampa Bay.
