Kids will have the chance to learn about agriculture and water conservation in Seaforth today.
The Huron-Perth Agriculture and Water Festival is based on a similar concept from about ten years ago, where children and residents can take a hands-on look at two important factors of Huron County life.
Co-Chair Denise Iszczuk says about 600 students from various schools will visit through the day, and the free open house starts this evening.
She says kids will get the chance to learn about water conservation through various activities and interactive games.
Iszczuk says agricultural groups representing the beef, pork and poultry industries will be present as well, along with a demonstration on how to milk a cow.
The open house is tonight at 6:30 PM at the Seaforth Community Centre and Agriplex.
