Attack Open Thursday

Owen Sound will host Game 1 of OHL West Semifinal on Thursday on Rogers Sportsnet

We have received word that the Owen Sound Attack will host Game 1 of the OHL Western Conference semifinals on Thursday night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Commuity Centre.

The league has confirmed the start date and the fact the game will be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet.

The actual start time of the game will be 7 PM -- but who Owen Sound will play still must be determined.

If Plymouth defeats the Kitchener Rangers in Game 7 Monday night, then the Attack will face the Whalers.

If Kitchener wins, then Owen Sound will take on the winner of the Erie Otters and Windsor Spitfires quarterfinal.

Game 7 of that series is Tuesday night in Windsor.



The Owen Sound Attack is still awaiting their second round opponent and a complete second round schedule, but the first home game is set! The Attack will play host to Plymouth , Windsor or Erie on Thursday, April 7th at 7:00pm. The game will be nationally televised on Rogers Sportsnet.

If the Plymouth Whalers defeat the Kitchener Rangers in game seven this evening, the Attack will face Plymouth in the Conference Semi-Finals. If Kitchener defeats Plymouth , the Attack will play the winner of the Windsor/Erie series who play game seven Tuesday evening in Windsor .



The Attack advanced to the Western Conference Semi Finals on Sunday, defeating the London Knights 1-0 at the John Labatt Centre, winning their Western Conference Quarter Final series four games to two.


The Attack has also introduced a new policy for fans looking to have their seats reserved for the remainder of the playoffs. New subscribers that purchase a season ticket for the 2011/2012 season in full will now have the opportunity to have their seats held for them until 1:00pm the day before the game as current season ticket holders do. 2011/2012 season ticket subscribers will also be given the opportunity to fill out the pre-authorized ticket sheet where their seats will be automatically purchased for them prior to each game. Fans wanting more information are encouraged to contact the Attack Box Office.


Current season ticket holders are reminded that they have until 1:00pm on Wednesday to claim their seats.

Tickets for games one and two of the Western Conference Semi-Finals are now on sale at the Attack Box Office in the main lobby of the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Tickets can also be purchased by calling the Box Office at (519) 371-7452.
