The Winterhawks beat the Elora Rocks, 6-4 to take the best of seven North division championship, 4 games to 1.

Hawks forward Shawn Walker did the damage at the end, scoring the 5th and 6th goals in a near perfect game by the Hawks.

So the team moves on to play the Monkton Wildcats for the league championship.

Hawks coach Don Matheson says they're ready.

He says the team had three goals--to finish first overall in the league; to beat Elora and to win the league championship.

They're two-thirds of the way there.

The league championship final starts this Friday, April 8th.
