Plymouth leads the best of 7; 2-1


Guelph Storm 7 Saginaw Spirit 3

Guelph leads the series 2 games to 1


Windsor Spitfires 6 Erie Otters 2

Windsor leads the best of 7; 2-1


Eastern Conference Quarterfinal

Sudbury Wolves 5 Ottawa 67's 3

Sudbury leads the series 2-0


Rangers 3 Whalers 1

Ryan Murphy scored a power-play goal early in the third period to give the Rangers their first win of the post season, and snap a 9 game losing streak.

In spite of the loss, the Whalers still lead the best of 7; 2-1 with Game 4 tonight in Michigan

Jerry D'Amigo and Gabriel Landeskog ( into an empty net ) also scored goals for Kitchener   

Alex Aleardi scored for the Whalers using his speed to get in alone on Brandon Maxwell who finished with 35 saves for the win.


Storm 7 Spirit 3

Taylor Beck & Michael Latta both scored twice for the Storm who have won 2 straight & lead the best of 7; 2-1.

Guelph scored three times in the second period to break open a 2-2 tie 

Peter Holland and Sam Lofquist each had a goal and two assists while Daniel Erlich a goal and an assist. 

John McFarland, Mickey Sartoretto and Ryan O'Connor scored for Saginaw who gave up 4 power play goals against.


Spitfires 6 Otters 2

The Spitfires scored 3 times in a 1 minute span to blow open a 3-2 lead and beat the Otters for the second straight game

Jack Campbell made 30 saves for the Spitfires who lead the best of 7; 2-1

Stephen Johnston, Jake Carrick and Ryan Ellis scored to give Windsor a 3-2 lead after 40 minutes of play before Jeff Brown, Brady Vail and Kenny Ryan scored early in the third period.

Erie netminder Ramis Sadikov was pulled early in the third and was replaced by Chris Festerini, who was promptly beaten by Ryan on the first shot he faced.


Wolves 5 67's 3

Import Andrey Kuchin had two goals and Charlie Dodero scored the game-winner on a penalty shot for the Wolves.

Sudbury leads the Eastern Conference quarter-final 2-0 with Game 3 is tonight again in Sudbury.

Michael Sgarbossa & Mike Lomas also scored for Sudbury in the win.
