Attack Calm Storm At The Bayshore

Owen Sound | by Jon Meyer

Andrew Fritsch has four point night in Attack win

The Owen Sound Attack got past the Guelph Storm 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

Andrew Fritsch scored twice, including the game winner, and had two assists to give him three goals so far this weekend.

Roman Berdnikov figured into the result with a goal and Berdnikov also set up one other for Owen Sound (39-17-4).

Attack captain Garrett Wilson also added a single and Jordan Binnington made 37 saves to earn the win.

The Attack made good twice in five power-play chances.

With the win the Attack move to 82 points on the season and three points up on Kitchener, who lost Saturday night in Erie, for first place in the Midwest Division.

The Attack round-out their busy weekend Sunday in Oshawa in their second and final meeting of the season.

An Owen Sound win would tie a franchise record at 40 wins in a season.

Puck drop is 6:05 in Oshawa and you can hear that game live right here on CFOS with Grey Motors Bear Radio.
