Attack Make It Close With Knights

Second Period Surge Not Enough For Attack

Dane Fox had the game winning goal in London as the Knights beat the Owen Sound Attack 4-3 in OHL play.

Robby Mignardi, Andrew Fritsch and Gemel Smith all tallied goals in the second period for the Attack (38-17-4).

Fritsch, who has 25 goals and 30 assists, ended a 10-game scoring drought.
   
Jordan Binnington made 20 saves on 24 shots for the Attack.

While the Attack lose their second straight game by a single goal, London has now won four straight.

The Attack have now dropped four of its past six decisions.
  
The Attack are at home to the Guelph Storm tonight at 7:30 (sat).

Guelph needs just four points to clinch a playoff spot after a win over the Barrie Colts Friday night.

The Attack still hold down first place in the MidWest Division by 1 point over the Kitchener Rangers.
