Owen Sound Beat Pete's For 5th Straight Win

Move over Saginaw, you now have company as the Owen Sound Attack are now tied for first place in the OHL's Western Conference.

The Owen Sound Attack won their fifth game in a row after a 5-1 win over the Pete's in Peterborough Thursday night.

Joey Hishon, Andrew Shaw, Jay Gilbert, Garret Wilson and Roman Berdnikov all scored for the Attack.

Micheal Zador made 24 saves for the win and now has six wins and one loss on the year in an Attack uniform.

The Attack were efficient on the power play with two goals in three man-advantage situations while the Petes were good on one of four power plays.

With the Attack win and Saginaw's loss in Barrie last night, Owen Sound is now tied for top spot in the Western Conference.

The Attack are back home to face Guelph this Saturday night and then have a tilt with Saginaw Sunday afternoon at the Bayshore.
