Attack Beat Rangers 5-3

Petgrave & Wilson Score Twice


Owen Sound Attack Captain Garrett Wilson scored twice and had a 4 point game as the Attack beat the Kitchener Rangers 5-3 in Ontario Hockey League play at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Center.

Defenceman Matt Petgrave also had a 2 goal game for the Attack who won their second straight on home and snapped a 3 game Kitchener win streak.

Andrew Fritsch opened the scoring for Owen Sound who now have a four point lead over Kitchener for first place in the MidWest Division.

Ryan Murphy, Tyler Randell & Michael Catenacci had consecutive goals for Kitchener who erased a 2-0 deficit and took a 3-2 lead by the midway point of the game.

The Rangers played the game without top forwards Gabriel Landeskog & Jason Akeson plus they were minus defender Jason Jasper

Owen Sound will host the Erie Otters in a doubleheader this weekend with games Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at the Lumley-Bayshore.

Kitchener will have a home & home with Windsor beginning Friday night in Kitchener.
