Attack Taken Down By The Soo

Owen Sound couldn't put it together at home as they lost to the Greyhounds 6-2.

In OHL action, The Owen Sound Attack played at home last night.

The Attack couldn't put it together as they lost to the lowly Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 6-2.

It was a big night for Greyhound forward Vern Cooper at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

Cooper had four goals as his last place team in the Western Conference raced past the Attack.

Jarrod Maidens and Robby Mignardi replied for Owen Sound.

The win pushes the Greyhounds record to 15-23-6, while the loss keeps Owen Sound at 68 points on the year.

The Attack are two points up on the Kitchener Rangers for first place in the Midwest Division.

This afternoon the Attack welcome Windsor to the Bayshore Community Centre for a 2 PM start, while the Greyhounds are in Kitchener to face the Rangers.
